Sonic Forces, a platformer developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega, was released in November 2017 on Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It includes Sega Mega Drive, Sonic World Adventure and Sonic the Hedgehog Colorful, as well as support for player-defined characters and is part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
